The Dominator 6X2 Condors are the Dominator 6X2s specially designed for China Motor Bus Company. After the two Condor demonstrators arrived Hong Kong in 1982, the company had not placed any order for any Dennis buses. It was not until 1988 that CMB placed further orders for 46 12m Dominator 6X2 Condors. They were delivered in 1989 and all of them received Duple Metsec bodies. Then the operator placed a further order for 28 11m long Dominator 6X2 Condors. They have similar specifications with their 12m counterparts. They are now being phrased out. One of them (DM6, ER1474, DDA1810-634) has been converted to an open-top bus by New World First Bus for Route 15C, which has been changed to whole-day service since 1 January 2000. The bus entered service on 17 January 2000 and re-registered as JJ4786. The fare was $3.00, the same as the fare of air-conditioned buses. On the other hand, Citybus bought 3 non-airconditoned Condors and converted them into training buses in March 2000. 92 more air-conditioned buses were also made in the vintage 1990-97 for the company. The specifications were slightly changed in different batches, regarding the axle weights, seating layout, engine and air-conditioning systems. Specification of
