Non-airconditioned Condor DM16 (DDA1810-650) on 6 September 1999

The photographs below were taken on 6 September 1999. DM16 participated in promoting driving safety to NWFB drivers and passengers at different bus termini. Pamphlets were distributed and passer-bys were taught to use the fire extinguisher installed in the bus.

The two photographs above were taken at Siu Sai Wan Bus Terminus.

This picture was taken at Sau Kei Wan Bus Terminus.

You may wonder why there is no one doing the promotion outside the bus. They set up their stall at some other corners of bus termini. My observation showed that the public relations officers did not promote safety actively. They would not ask passer-bys to approach them. However, once you visited their stall, they welcomed you politely and told you the safety measures comprehensively.
