Nissan
Diesel Motors Company Limited
Nissan
Diesel Motors Company Limited was found in 1960 after the Minsei Diesel
Industries Ltd and Nissan Motor Co Ltd merged together in the mid-1950s.
They also started a factory in New Zealand to produce buses specially for
the country. However, that factory has been closed down. Nissan Diesel
buses are quite common in Hong Kong, typical models include Fuji Heavy
Industries bodied RP80N, RP210NSN and RP252NSN coaches. Local bodies are
also fitted to various chassis. Examples include CM 160 truck chassis and
JP252NSN bus chassis.
