Self-discipline is expected as I do not put my name in the pictures so as to retain its originality. Kowloon Motor Bus's first Centroliner in the second batchAt three o'clock in the morning of 16 May 2000, a bus in gold was driven into the remote Kin Fung circuit and entered the largest building on the street - Kowloon Motor Bus Tuen Mun Assembly Plant. Then the street remained peaceful and quiet. Bright sunlight shone on the back of this vehicle in the morning, highlighed the red script: Centroliner. The local-built Trident beside it, which was warmly welcomed, becomes less attractive. It was not until 0830 hours when five or six engineers of the operator drove the bus on the middle of the road, occupying three or four parking spaces. At the meantime, Anthony came with the LRT 507. Some officers, along with mechanics, climbed on the high one-step entrance and started to examine this vehicle, which comes from the other end of Eurasian Plane. Two officers took out their Olympus IS2000 and Canon EOS 1000F and started to snap pictures. All the people examining the bus became excited because it is different from the 20 buses came in the past two years. This is the delivery note attached beyond the dashboard, stating the details of the product. The chassis no. WAG340264YSP29182 coincides to the shipping form held by the KMB officials. However, the chassis no. shown on the Vehicle Identification Plate and the chassis show that it was WAG340264YSP29181, which should be the chassis originally for New World First Bus. Note: Something like this happens from time to time. It is nothing special. Retarder has been incorporated in the ZF5HP590 transmission.
