Self-discipline is expected as I do not put my name in the pictures so as to retain its originality. Kowloon Motor Bus Mobile MuseumIn order to do better in public relations work, KMB has started a mobile museum. It occasionally deploy a Centroliner and a Daimler CVG5 (D26, 4961, the oldest member of the existing KMB fleet). The first time of this function was held on 20 November 1999 at KCR Kowloon Station Bus Terminus. AP20 (JE284, WAG340264XSP27181) and D26 were deployed. Show boards and model buses were exhibited in the two buses. On the other hand, ex-depot driver Poon Sum and a younger driver wore old (pre-1992 style) winter uniforms and let people take pictures with them. A banner was fixed by KMB staff members before the function began at 11:00a.m. However, they encountered difficulties because the surface of the N4426 was so slippery that the double-sided tapes could not be a good key of attaching the banner. The interiors of the 20 N4026s for Kowloon Motor bus are not very conformed, although there is little difference regarding the outlook, such as whether a door switch is located outside or inside the left headlamp latch. The entrance of AP20, showing the fire extinguisher and the CCTV monitor near the ceiling. This picture is a close up at the CCTV screen, emergency hammer, curtain in front of the driver, and the reading lamp directly over the driver's seat. KMB seldom use digital destination equipment in its fleet. However, the company chose digital destination display in the whole Centroliner fleet. The contract was made with Hanover Displays. Although it is a very German name, and they are installed on German buses, the company is based in Sussex, England. This picture shows the buttons and handbrake of N4026. The rear end of AP20 is a bit different from that of AP2. Note also that exhibits are hung on the rails.
