New World First Bus training buses

After New World First Bus Services Limited took over 88 franchised routes of China Motor Bus Company Limited, they found that CMB's ex-London Transport CRG6LXB-30 training buses were too old and obsolute. Therefore, they converted 6 buses to training bus and had conspicuous orange livery. The Metrobuses were allocated T104, T105 and T106. The picture below is T104 (ex-CMB MC2). The photographs were taken on 21 June 1999 at Chai Wan Bus Terminus.

The driving panel of T104 is the same as other Metrobuses.

The staircase of the bus was removed, the position was fitted with a sliding window and an inclined plane was placed in the position of the staircase. The white paper was a calendar. Note carefully and you will see that there is a black metal plate immediately on top of it. The plate indicates the 20 different things on the driving panel, such as the indicator lamps. This plate was originally placed immediately behind the driver's seat. Note also that BT1901 was painted immediately above the inner side of the door, which does not appear inside operational buses.

The picture above and the picture below were taken on 6 June 1999. This bus (T105/BV2049/MB5036) was originally CMB's MC6. The rail for the staircase was retained. This picture also shows the positions of driver's seat, instructor's seat and instructor's brakes. The fire extinguisher was also repositioned.
