Lviv Bus Plant

The Lviv Bus Plant was established in Ukraine in 1945. In the beginning, they produced trailers, cranes and other engineering products. It was not until 1956 that they produced their own bus LAZ-695. It was one of the first dedicated bus chassis designed and built in the former Soviet Union. These buses were very common in the former Soviet Union. Touring coach variants were also produced afterwards. The production life of that basic design was very long and the last buses were produced in the early 1990s. Later newer models like LAZ-5207 and 5208 were produced. In 2005, they started to produce electric buses and more modern buses.
