The LAZ-699R was a long wheelbase intercity coach. It was produced from 1978 to 1990. Passenger seats were aircraft type seats with adjustable inclination of back and headrest. The driver's seat was spring loaded. The heating system comprised the cooling system of engine and an OV-95 independent heater.
