Interior details of 3304L (Page 2)

The photographs were taken inside 3304L (JJ3203) on 8 January 2000.

Like some other Duple Metsec bodied Tridents, there is space between the first row of seats on the upper deck and the staircase.

The space for wheelchair is the smallest among all super low floor buses in Hong Kong. Since the entrance is too narrow, wheelchair users have to get on the bus through the ramp at the rear door.

There is difference between the specification plate of these Tridents and those of Dominators. It is written: "Dennis Guildford, England".

The dashboard of the trident has all the buttons and indication lights in Chinese. It is tailor-made for Hong Kong. At the right side, you can see the gear selection buttons for Voith DIWA 863.3 automatic transmission. (D, 2, N, R), plus the reverse button.

From left to right (as shown):

Left side:

Door, Emergency exit, foglight, high light, front??, charge, ..., halt

right indicator

interior luminaires, engine cover, rear foglight, water/engine oil level, ...

Right side: handbrake, ABS, water temperature, ...

dipped lights, ..., water level, ...

If you have further information, please email me.

The CCTV system is Brigade Commex Backeye. The screen provides black and white image. You can also see the microphone. It connects to the control centre. Drivers can communicate with the centre once they encounter an accident, a traffic jam, etc. There are two panels at the right side. The one at the top is the control panel of Hanover Displays digital destination equipment. It controls what the display system shows (in Chinese and English), The one under it is the switches for lamps inside the bus.
