Pegasus IT Bus

DD 9774 was originally KMB's 3N80 (DDA605-174). It was converted to an Information Technology Bus in 1998 as a response to the IT education policy from the government. From the livery, you can recognise that this bus is sponsored by a number of companies, including Compag, Microsoft and Lotus. The upper deck of the bus contains about 20 computers and the lower deck a few. It travels to different Primary and Secondary schools to give children a chance to glance at the electronic world. The picture above was taken on 28 March 1999 at KMB Shatin Depot. From this picture, you can see that one exit is cancelled and the rear part of the lower saloon has become the air-conditioner and electric generator.

In late June 1999, it carried out its duty on Sheung Heung Road.

It parked outside a primary school.

Note that all the windows the starboard side have been cancelled and the position of the air conditioner.

There is a computer at the lower deck.

From the emergency exit, you can find cables and other equipment inside.
