Citybus and Kowloon Motor Bus Victory 2s

This is an ex-NLB Victory 2 (37, CY 3749). It served as a passenger bus when Citybus gained 26 franchised route on Hong Kong Island on 1 September, 1993. It has alerady been converted to a training bus. The picture was taken on Aberdeen Main Road in summer 1998.

This picture showed the old colour scheme of Kowloon Motor Bus vehicles. Note that it had a inward sliding door. The bus was running at Route 6 towards Star Ferry. It was taken in summer 1981 on Nathan Road, outside Kowloon Park.

G324 (CM5716, JVTB-800887) was first registered on 3 April 1981. It had been converted to an open-top bus, as shown on 10 April 1993 in Victoria Park, Causeway Bay. From KMB's record, this bus was sold to Speedybus without engine and axles in February that year.

These photos were extracted from real estate brochures in mid-1980s.
