Tree Cutting Vehicle DE7931 in action

This Guy Arab Mk V (S1, DE7931) was made in 1965, It has been converted to a tree trimming vehicle. Beside this, Urban Services Department and Royal Hong Kong Police Force (Hong Kong Police today) have been using it in major festivals like Lunar New Year and Mid Autumn Festival. It has been bought by NWFB and unlike other service vehicles, it is unlikely to be withdrawn in the near future. On 25 March 2000, it cut trees on Tai Tam Road.

DE7931 left Tai Tam Road, but leaves and smoke scattered on the road. from the photograph, this vehicle should be the most environmentally unfriendly member of NWFB.
