Daimler COG5 Photographs

Bombay Electric Supply and Tramways COG5s

Owing to the increased demand for public transport, BES&T purchased a batch of COG5s in 1937. They were the first double deckers in Bombay.

The chassis of one of the buses delivered to the operator in 1938 was preserved in BEST Museum in Anik Depot.

Winding was required to start up the engine.

The chassis condition was satisfactory but it was covered with dust and spider webs.
