Kowloon Motor Bus Regent 5s

This photograph was taken on 10 April 1993 at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay. The BACo bodied Regent 5 bore the Blue Triangle trademark logo. AD 4807 entered into service in 1963 and was put out of service in 1985.

This picture was taken in early 1990s at KMB Shatin depot. Note that KMB had not placed the Blue Triangle in front of the radiator yet, but wrote the word "AEC" there. It is seen that the "Blue Triangle" has been removed.

This is another perspective of the vehicle. It was taken on the same day and place as the previous picture.

This picture shows the interior of the vehicle. KMB used this type of fibre glass seats in its buses between late 1950s and early 1970s.

AD 4807 was photographed again in KMB Shatin Depot on 11 April 2001.

This picture was adopted from the brochure of Wonderland Villas. It showed Regent 5s and Victory 2s in Mei Foo Terminus circa 1983.

Compare the two photos above. The two photos were taken at the same position at the same angle. However, the photo on the left was taken around 1974 whereas the one on the right was taken in 2004.

AD4807 was exhibited outside Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 29 April 2017.
