During 1994 and 1995, Singapore Bus Services endorsed an order of 100 non-airconditioned Volvo Olympians. They have two axles. Like the Leyland Olympians, they were 10.3m long and received Alexander R type bodies. Five of them have been sent back to England and fitted with heaters. All these buses entered First Manchester in Britain in  red livery.
