Interior details of a Jit Luen bodied Volvo B6LEThe pictures were taken on 2 June 2000 in 1357 (HV5716). This page shows the driver's cab details. All Citybus buses have Octopus machine and casher, devices for collecting fare. The passenger places his Octopus farecard on the machine. The green light lits if the transaction is valid. The yellow light and green lights lit if it is a concession farecard. The red lamp shines for negative value/counterfeit card. The monitor shows the remaining fare and the fare required for the journey. At the driver's side there is another monitor showing the route number, direction, and the fare collecting details. The driver enters the correct fare before the journey starts. When the bus enters the depot, the driver has to press "ENTER" button to transmit the transaction details through the antenna to the server of the control centre. This is the dashboard of the B6LE. This picture shows the details of handbrake, gear selection panel, door opening and closing panel, lighting and air-conditioning control panel. The sticker with red characters says, "Caution: Make sure that the handbrake has been applied to the parking position before leaving the driver's seat." (司機注意: 凡離開司機座位前,必須確保手掣桿已拉緊至正確之泊車位置。) The gear selection buttons: 1, 2, D, N, R Door controlling
buttons: first row and second row are for entrance and the third row are
for exit. This picture shows the details above the driver's cockpit. The paper with columns shows the order of destination blind. At the right hand side (rearward), you can find the LITEvision controller for the side and rear electronic destination equipment.
