Verkehrsbetriebe Luzern introduced a number of B58 articulated trolleybuses in 1975. They were bodied by Hess and the electric traction were provided by Siemens. When the buses were withdrawn, some of them were exported to Bugaria.
The B58 was also fitted with bus and coach body and widely used in the United Kingdom and Australia.
