The Volvo Ailsa B55 was a front-engined double-decker bus chassis built in Scotland from 1973 to 1985 by Ailsa, Volvo's British commercial vehicle agency.

Unlike the similar Guy Wulfrunian developed in 1950s, this chassis of simple design was found to be successful in United Kingdom.

Exports include 320 2-axled bus and 1 3-axled bus for Jakarta, 1 demonstrator for Singapore, 8 2-axled buses and 2 3-axled buses for Hong Kong.
