The DB 250 was a 1 step / non-step low floor double deck bus chassis.

It was extensively used in Britain mainly with Optare and Plaxton / Northern Counties bodies.

In 2007, İstanbul Elektrik Tramvay ve Tünel İşletmeleri Genel Müdürlüğü (IETT) of Istanbul purchased a total of 52 DB 250s with Hungarian Magyar Járműtechnikai Zártkörűen működő Részvénytársaság (MJT) D02-11D bodywork. They were deployed to the city centre of Istanbul.
