The K93CRB was the first Scania bus model for Hong Kong. Citybus was the first operator, with four buses purchased in 1988 for their cross-border service. Later, Wellcome Tourist, Associated, Trans-Island and Desource have bought Taiwanese bodied coaches for tourist service.

K93CRBs shipped to Malta were mostly bodied by Ghabbour from Egypt.
