The K230UB is a low entry city bus.
In Singapore, SBS Transit had ordered a total of 1,100 Gemilang bodied K230UBs. The first 531 buses had Euro 4 engines and the rest were fitted with Euro 5 engines. Resort World Sentosa also ordered 10 K230UBs fitted with modified SC Chivalrous bodies to serve shuttle route between Changi Airport and the casino at Resort World.
In Hong Kong, Kowloon Motor Bus ordered 20 10.6m long K230UBs (ASB) and 10 12m long K230UBs (ASC) with Salvador Caetano bodies.
