The MAN NL 263 is the successor to the high power city bus NL262. It has A11 body, which looks differently from the A10 body of NL 202, NL 222 and NL 262.
Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) operates a fleet of not less than 49 NL 263s. They have B30D+60 configuration. Different from its predecessors, a third door is installed beyond the rear axle.
Lok Ma Chau - Huangang Shuttle Bus have acquired several dual-doored buses of this model. They have been shipped to the territory and entered service in late September 2001.
Discovery Bay Transport Service Limited Purchased 2 NL263s in 2001 and 5 more buses in 2002.
New Lantao Bus has purchased 9 NL 263s and the buses entered service in 2003.
