Renault R 312 is a fully flat level floored city bus. It was developed in late 1980s and put into market in 1990 to meet the great demand of mass transport in congested areas in Paris and other French cities. These vehicles have a small number of seats and large number of standees. R 312s have been used by operators in France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain (and Italy with its own body). There is a low floor variant with a ramp in the middle door.
