After the successful trials of DDA1806, KMB ordered 82 DDA1811s between March and December 1991 and they entered service in 1991 and 1992. These buses have been deployed to different routes, included the newly established business commuter route 300 at that time. The seats have been changed to vinyl seats in 3+2 layout. This picture shows AD3 (EU7248, DDA1811-664) was heading Central in a sunny afternoon in 1993. The picture was taken from a tram passing Hennesey Road, Wan Chai.
