Contrac GmBH was started in the 1970s. It produces the well-known apron bus series Cobus. The first product of this Wiesbaden based German firm, Cobus No.1, entered service in Zurich in 1978. This company produced buses based on Mercedes Benz low floor chassis. It has currently four models: Cobus 2400C, 2700S, 2700 and 3000.
