Commer Cars LimitedCommer was an old established British commercial vehicle manufacturer. Commercial cars Limited, Luton, Bedfordshire was acquired by Humber Limited in 1926 and Commer Cars Limited was formed. Production was started with trucks. Avenger, the first passenger model available in single and double deck bus, was introduced in 1929. In 1939, the famous Superpoise chassis was introduced and over 20,000 units were built during World War II. the front engined chassis can be fitted as trucks or buses.
