The last day of operation of LM3 (FW736)

LM3 (FW736, ON20985) is the last ex-CMB non-airconditioned bus was withdrawn in Hong Kong with its CMB livery. 12 January 2000 was its last day of operation. The pictures were taken in Lai Tak Estate Bus Terminus. It has been converted to a single-doored bus and is serving in First Pennine, a subsidiary of First Group in Greater Manchester Area.

The rear details is nearly the same as that in CMB's time, except the "Don't follow too close" slogan.

Although this 7 year old bus retired on that day, it was welcomed by many passengers on Lai Tak Tsuen Road.
