Citybus 185 - from new to old

12A is the first franchised route that Citybus operates. This outlook can never be seen anymore. The colour scheme as shown belongs to non-franchised division of the company. Olympians has been replaced by Volvo B6s, Dennis Dart SLFs and Man NL262s on this route. 185 (FC5301) was photographed in 1993 on Connaught Road Central. The vehicle was all new at that time. The picture on the right shows the same bus has been deployed to cross-border routes. Note that it has a PRC nameplate beside the Hong Kong nameplate. It was taken on 1 October 1999 at City One Shatin Bus Terminus.
