It was photographed on 3 August 1989 in Singapore. All these vehicles have already withdrawn by SBS. The Atlanteans in Hong Kong were like this. But they have now been sold to South Africa.
The Atlantean in front (SBS5378D, 7902005) was one of the 100 Duple Metsec bodied buses. It entered service in 1980. Note the rails on the seats were curved. It is believed to be shipped to mainland China. The one behind it was one of the 200 R-type bodied Atlantean introduced in 1984. The picture was taken on Ayer Rajah Expressway on 2 August 1989. This picture was taken on 3 August 1989 in China Town. The double-decker was an Atlantean. The single-decker was a Volvo B57. The former may have been shipped to China and the latter shipped to Ireland. The building remains in the city, but nearly all other things in the picture have been changed.
