The Guy Special was a normal control small bus replacing the aged London Transport Leyland Cubs in early 1950s. These buses were bodied by Eastern Coach Works and fitted with Perkins P6 diesel engine. These buses were deployed to rural routes.

Most buses were sold or stored in 1960s. However, many of them were preserved and participated in various bus rallies and nostalgic rides.
