In 1970, Kowloon Motor Bus endorsed an order for 50 Albion Viking EVK21XLs. The model is a longer and tougher derivative from the Victor. On the other hand, it has a lower frame, resulting in a lower floor and shallower steps. They were registered AR7701 to AR7750 with fleet numbers allocated L220 to L269.

These buses received Metal Sections bodies. They have two doors, one immediately behind the first axle and the other behind the rear wheels. Since the driver's seat is very far from the entrance, there was difficulty in one man operation.  These buses were withdrawn between 1987 and 1990.
